Do you have a dent, depression, or abnormal appearance, anywhere on the head or face a traumatic injury or surgery, especially facial bone surgery or neurosurgery? If you’re at least 18 years old, you may be eligible to participate in a research study assessing a new, innovative, and minimally invasive treatment to restore your appearance using your own fat cells.
This will be a two-stage procedure: Stage one will involve collecting your own fat tissue (liposuction), using the tissue to restore shape (contour) and appearance, and banking (storing) the extra fat tissue for later use. A shorter second procedure is performed approximately 3 months later utilizing the banked fat tissue without requiring additional collection of fat tissue (liposuction). Both procedures are minimally invasive outpatient treatments. Your study participation will last approximately 8 months.
