Characteristics of current cigarette smokers

About this study

Are you a healthy and regular cigarette smoker? Are you an adult aged 21-65 years? If so, you may be able to participate in a research study to learn more about characteristics of current cigarette smokers, such as personality traits and cognition. Eligible participants are 21-65 years old, speak and read English, and able to show valid photo ID. Compensation provided.

What you’ll do

Participation involves attending 2 required session at the Behavioral Research Lab near CMU’s campus. The first session will be to determine the participant’s eligibility and will last approximately 30 minutes. Following that, if eligible, you will be invited to partake in an experimental session that will last 1 hour on the same day. The session will include completing activities and tasks.
