INDIGO: Individual differences in gait and osteoarthritis pain

About this study

Have you had knee pain for more than 6 months? You may be eligible for a research study which is looking at what leads to individual differences in gait and pain perception in patients with knee osteoarthritis. Participation involves two appointments and a knee MRI. Compensation is provided.

What you’ll do

Taking part in this study involves completing two in-person visits and completing a knee MRI, all of which will take about 6 hours over 1-3 weeks. Procedures will include sensory testing and wearing a brain imaging cap and body sensors and doing a set of knee exercises including walking, stretching, standing, and stair climbing. You will rate your knee pain before, during, and after all of the exercises.
