What you’ll do
This study involves at least seven visits to the laboratory over two years, including: one fasting blood draw, ultrasound images of your blood vessels, brain imaging using MRI, hot flash and sleep monitoring, interviews about your health, questionnaires, completing daily surveys on a smartphone and monthly surveys online.

Are you African American and 50 years of age or older? You may be able to participate in a brain imaging study. We want to look at how your environment changes the way your brain works as you age.
Are you a Veteran who is enrolled in the VA Healthcare System and has never had a stroke? You may be eligible to participate in a research study to help us validate a new tool for monitoring language processing in the brain. This study involves attending 4 to 6 visits and includes Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) scanning. Compensation is provided.
Are you 18-40 with a diagnosis of premature ovarian insufficiency? You may be eligible for a research study investigating the effects of low estrogen on bone health and sleep quality. Participation includes only a single study visit which will include a bone density scan and blood draw. Compensation provided.
