Are you a current smoker between the ages of 21-65 years old? Do you have a friend or romantic partner between the ages of 21-65 with whom you sometimes smoke? If so, you may be able to take part in a research study to learn more about people who smoke together. This study requires you to participate with your friend or romantic partner and involves 2 study visits. Compensation provided.
Interested potential participants will be screened for eligibility through an online survey and/or a phone call with a member of our lab. For participants who are found eligible, participation in this study involves one background/questionnaire visit that will last about 1 hour, and another visit that will last about 2 hours. Participants must also be willing to not smoke for 5 hours before the second scheduled study visit. Both visits involve participating with a non-romantic friend or romantic partner that you sometimes smoke with. Study visits will involve filling out questionnaires and completing smoking tasks. The second study visit will involve being video recorded.

Are you 20 weeks pregnant or later and receiving care and delivering at UPMC Magee Womens Hospital? You may be eligible to participate in a research study to improve early detection and management of conditions like preterm preeclampsia and intrauterine growth restriction. Compensation is provided.
