In person · Pittsburgh · PA · United States
Research provider: Pitt+Me
About this study
Are you currently pregnant? Help us learn how the Respiratory Syncytial Virus (RSV) Vaccine protects infants. Pediatricians at the University of Pittsburgh are conducting a research study to better understand how well and how long protection from Respiratory Syncytial Virus (RSV) vaccine lasts for babies. Participants are compensated for their time.
What you’ll do
If you participate, you may sign the consent form as early as 20 weeks gestation. The study team would then have a screening visit, virtually or in person - once you are >=35 weeks pregnant to confirm final eligibility, then have two additional visits at delivery and at 4 months of age. At the 4-month visit, the study will collect a small blood sample from both your 4-month-old baby and from you. If you are still breastfeeding, the study team will also collect a sample of your breast milk.
