The GUIDE-UTI Trial

About this study

Do you have recurrent urinary tract infections (UTI)? You may be eligible for a research study to investigate what patients know about UTIs and conduct a trial of receiving antibiotics or waiting until you have a urine test. Participants will be assigned to receive antibiotics when they have UTI symptoms or wait until tests return. Compensation is provided.

What you’ll do

If you agree to participate, you’ll be assigned to receive antibiotics when you have UTI symptoms or wait until your tests return We will ask you to complete short questionnaires weekly for 4 weeks You will have a one time in person or virtual visit.
