Are you a healthy 18-25 year old? You may be eligible to participate in a research study to better our understanding about how different brains process information, and whether the same brain regions are used in children, adults, and in people with brain injuries. This is an MRI study with a task/game. Compensation is provided.
The study will include one session (1-1.5 hours) of MRI scanning. You will lie in the MRI scanner and the researcher will present information to you through headphones and on a screen. You will respond by pressing a button. During this experiment you will need to lie very still and keep your eyes open. The brain MRI scan requires your head to be secured by cushions inside a special helmet to reduce movement, and may not be comfortable for individuals who are sensitive to tight spaces. Overall, the visit will take about 2 hours, including practising the task before entering the MRI magnet.

Are you 20 weeks pregnant or later and receiving care and delivering at UPMC Magee Womens Hospital? You may be eligible to participate in a research study to improve early detection and management of conditions like preterm preeclampsia and intrauterine growth restriction. Compensation is provided.
