If you are having complaints of memory and diagnosed with Mild Cognitive Impairment (MCI) you may be eligible for a research study investigating safety and tolerability of GGC supplementation. Participation includes blood and urine analysis, oral antioxidant supplementation. Your participation could help advance this area of research.
What you’ll do
3 months of GGC supplementation. Three in-person visits to UPMC Presbyterian. Provide blood and urine samples at each visit.

Have you been diagnosed with REM Sleep Behavior Disorder (RBD)? You may be eligible for a research study to determine how bioenergetic changes in the brain occur and contribute to progression of Lewy Body Dementia and other neurodegenerative diseases. This is a brain imaging research study using MRI and PET scans to look at a certain kind of brain activity. Compensation provided.
Do you have Single-Sided Deafness? You may be eligible for a research study to investigate how the length of time a person has Single-Sided Deafness (SSD) can influence how their brain adjusts to a cochlear implant and how this impacts how well a person can hear both sound and human speech. Participants will be asked to complete 7 research visits over 18 months. Compensation is provided.
This research study will be investigating how the human body responds to four different challenges: sugar, exercise, fasting, and a steroid. Participation includes a screening visit and 4 additional study visits where the participant will undergo blood draws through an IV line and measurement of resting energy expenditure. Compensation is provided.
