Do you have pain in both of your feet from nerve damage (peripheral neuropathy)? You may be eligible for a research study to test whether a method to assess neuropathic pain characteristics can be used to classify patients into pain sub-groups and predict who will respond best to certain pain treatments that participants will take during this study. Compensation is provided.
You will try two different drugs (at different times) that are commonly used by doctors to treat pain. You will attend 5 study visits (1-2 hours) over 5 months. You will respond to questionnaires about your pain. You will undergo some tests that evaluate your pain You will provide a blood sample (not required).

Do you require assistance or provide assistance with toilet or commode transfers? You may be eligible for a research study to evaluate the PPAL bedside commode in a home setting to better understand the impact of the device in a 6-week at home trial. Compensation is provided.
